Cookies In A Jar - homemade gift recipe
An easy homemade gift idea for Christmas with some cookies in a jar - perfect easy gift for loved ones!

Servings: 1 jar
Ingredients
- 175 g light brown soft sugar
- 275 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 150 g chocolate chips
- 150 g M&Ms
Instructions
- Grab a jar (that is roughly 600ml in size or bigger)
- Layer the ingredients in the jar
- I did sugar, flour, baking powder, cornflour, salt, and then the chocolates
- Seal and label the jars
- Add instructions (Bake at 180ºc fan for 11-13 minutes, add 125g unsalted butter and 1 egg)
Notes
- I use jars about 600ml in size - if you don't have any big enough, you can use food safe treat bags
- To make these cookies, you add 125g room temperature butter and 1 egg (or 75ml milk)

- If you want to make the cookies chocolate flavoured, you an substitute 50g of flour for 35g cocoa powder
- The recipe makes 12-14 cookies out of one jar
