Cookies In A Jar - homemade gift recipe
An easy homemade gift idea for Christmas with some cookies in a jar - perfect easy gift for loved ones!

Servings: 1 jar
Ingredients
- 175 g light brown soft sugar
- 275 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 150 g chocolate chips
- 150 g M&Ms
Instructions
- Grab a jar (750ml+ in size or bigger) or a treat bag.
- Layer the ingredients in the jar/bag
- I did sugar, flour, baking powder, cornflour, salt, and then the chocolates
- Seal and label the jars/bags
- Add instructions (Bake at 180ºc fan for 11-13 minutes, add 125g unsalted butter and 1 egg)
Notes
- I use a jar around 750ml or bigger in size - if you don't have any big enough, you can use food safe treat bags.
- Some jars are odd shapes, so if you are worried, use the food safe treat bags instead to guarantee a fit.
- To make these cookies, you add 125g room temperature butter and 1 egg (or 75ml milk)
